2 residents have been out shopping independently in town, 1 has been transported to attend his Sunday morning church service at Hope House. Everyone enjoyed their Sunday dinner then chilled out in the afternoon.

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town, 1 had had her hair cut today ready for her holiday next weekend & 1 has been out supported shopping with a member of staff. The rest have been watching TV, listening to music or playing games.

Tuesday 27/5/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town & the rest have been watching TV, listening to music or just chilling. In  the afternoon, 3 residents were supported to go swimming at the sports centre.

Wednesday 28/5/25

1 resident has been shopping independently in town this morning, 1 resident has used hospital transport to attend her appointment at Boston hospital supported by a member of staff & 2 other have attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church. 1 resident has been out supported shopping 1-1 in town with a member of staff & another has been taken out for lunch & shopping 1-1. This afternoon, 7 residents are taking part in craft classes. & 2 went int the hot tub supported by staff

This afternoon, 2 residents are going out supported 1-1 shopping

2 residents have been shopping independently in town, 1 has been doing more weeding / gardening between the rain showers & the rest have been sat chatting together int he lounges, playing games on the Ipads or watching TV. This afternoon, 1 resident has had 1-1 support to go out into town for shopping, a drink & piece of cake in a cafe.

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town, 2 other have attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church & the rest have been chatting in the lounge, watching TV or plying games. This afternoon, 1 paraplegic resident is being supported 1-1 to go swimming at the sports centre. We are changing our old Zafira to a Ford Focus C-Max this afternoon which is creating a stir amongst both staff & residents

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town, 2 others have been out supported shopping & had a drink in a cafe where 1 of the residents met up with his mum too.2 others who were planning to have 1-1 shopping / lunch out today had to have them rearranged due to the wet weather & these are now hopefully taking place tomorrow. 2 others are also planning to go out with 1- support later today of the weather improves. other residents have been sat in the lounge watching TV & chatting with others or playing games. 1 resident has been chatting with her parents on the phone too

1 resident had an early morning visit from her sister bringing her birthday presents, 2 residents have been shopping independently in town, 1 had a visit from his mum & the rest have been watching TV. The birthday girl was taken out for lunch at a care by a member of staff for her 1-1 support. This afternoon, all residents attended the birthday party singing on karaoke & playing games

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town.2 others have had a visit from the surgery care-coordinator to update their NHS care plans & the rest have been chilling, watching TV, chatting or playing music / games. This afternoon, 3 residents are being supported 1-1 to go out shopping in town & 1 is back outside with his wheelbarrow again doing more weeding / gardening

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning & 2 others have attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church. This afternoon, 1 resident (wheelchair user) is going swimming at the sports centre supported 1-1 by a member of staff. Other residents are watching TV in the lounge, chatting, listening to music or playing games. 1 resident will be going out weeding around the garden again today

1 resident went shopping independently in town, 2 others went supported shopping with a member of staff & 5 residents took part in crafts at the home. In the afternoon, 1 resident was transported to her audiology appointment in Grimsby to have her new hearing aid fitted.The rest of the residents have been watching TV playing music or just relaxing & enjoying the sunny weather.

3 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 has been helping a member of staff tidy up the garden & another has been out supported shopping with a member of staff.This afternoon, most residents have been watching TV or relaxing in the lounge or their bedroom with a few sitting outside in the garden

2 residents have been shopping independently in town & 1 has had his weekly visit from his mum. 1 has been transported to Louth for a family gathering to celebrate her fathers 92nd birthday with family coming up from London for a meal. Staff picked her back up again in the afternoon after the meal & returned her to the home.The rest have been watching TV or chilling in the lounge &  few sat out in the garden enjoying the sunshine.

Wednesday 18/6/25

1 resident has been shopping independently in town & 2 have attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church. 1 resident has been picked up by her mum & taken home for the day. When they return this afternoon, mums taking her shopping for some new bedding. The rest have been watching TV in the lounge whilst we have had the first part of a new floor laid in a small hallway. This afternoon the residents will watch TV & relax whilst works starts on replacing the flooring along the main corridor. Half of the corridor will be done this afternoon & the workmen are returning tomorrow to finish off the other half

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning, 1 has been out supported shopping & stopped for a drink & a piece of cake at a cafe. This afternoon 1 resident has been out shopping independently & another has been out supported 1-1 shopping. The rest are sat watching TV, listening to music or sat in the garden enjoying the sunshine. Work is continuing on replacing the flooring in the main corridor today too

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 residents have been getting packed & ready for their holiday to Cleethorpes leaving at lunchtime today. 1 resident has been picked up by his mum & taken on home visit for the weekend. This afternoon, 1 resident has been out supported shopping & another has been out for dinner in town for her 1-1 outing. The rest have been watching TV, listening to music or playing games. The new flooring in the main corridor has now been completed & looking much better

2 residents returned from their holiday this morning & they had a great time. They even missed out on the massive thunderstorm we had here on Saturday night. 2 residents have been shopping independently in town & the rest have been relaxing in the lounge watching TV or playing music in their own rooms. 1 resident has been supported to attend his ophthalmology appointment at Louth Hospital. This evening, 2 residents are being supported swimming at the sports centre

1 resident has been shopping in town independently this morning, 2 others have been out supported by a staff to do shopping & called for a drink in a cafe where 1 of the residents met his mum. Specsavers have been to do half of the residents sights tests today too. 7 residents have taken part in crafts this morning too. This afternoon, 1 resident is having 1-1 time to go out to a cafe for a cake & a drink. The others have been sat watching TV & relaxing as its very warm again today

2 residents have been shopping independently in town this morning, 1 had a visit from his mum & the rest have been watching TV, listening to music or playing games. After lunch, 1 resident was supported 1-1 to go shopping in town. IN the afternoon, the new sofas arrived & these were soon build & in place.

2 residents have been out shopping in town this morning & 1 has been transported to & from his Sunday morning service at Hope House. The rest have been keeping cool in the home or enjoying the garden under the sun shades. No Sunday roast dinner today as its too hot so they all enjoyed a buffet style ploughman's with quiche, port pies, sausage rolls scotch eggs etc. Everyone commented how they liked it
